Ponte; Realness is a thesis about understanding oneself and your true potential. Understanding and exploring sexuality, gender, politics, and status as the concepts within enables you to traverse these societal impositions to understand your truest self. Throughout this thesis, I explore real situations from my own limited perspective as a queer white individual. Learning and understanding the community within which I present. Community has helped me understand myself and topics beyond the normative thinking imposed by societal standards.

Growing up queer means the word queer in every sense. Navigating familial, romantic and friendships are peculiar. Fitting into spaces and learning to express oneself is strange. Conversing across ideologies is odd. Realness is difficult.

Through research and development, the forms, and spaces within Ponte change, however Ponte and who it is does not.
