Main Idea of UDF: Re-Imagined Integrated Active Public Spaces

The idea of the UDF is integrating active public spaces with pedestrians is to enhance the quality of these spaces in which they give a place identity where people will get ease of access to these spaces.

There will be ease of access within the blocks as we are providing ease of access to our development whereas it will be most suitable for middle to high income earning groups which it is supported or motivated by Melrose arch where it is most viable for middle to high income people.

Our proposed urban design will provide opportunities for social exchange of information of all kind in order to maintain resilience of the place.

Integrated public spaces will enable ease of access to and connections between all functions within the proposed urban developments. Our development will ensure safety and encourage neighbourhood connectivity through reviving lost open spaces in Kyalami
